Speech Pathology and Audiology Accreditation


The master's and doctoral education programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at Kent State University are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language Association (ASHA) through Feb. 2025.

ASHA is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for professionals in the speech-language pathology and audiology professions. CAA is a semi-autonomous body within ASHA that accredits audiology and speech-language pathology programs. Here at Kent State, CAA accredits the master's and doctoral education programs on an eight-year cycle.
