Be prepared to work! Podiatry school is medical school. Some schools even mix their DPM classes with their DO or MD classes. Being organized, planning ahead and adopting efficient study habits are all great ways to ensure you are on top of your game.

Not yet. Still in the first semester of 1st year, will probably start preparing for boards this summer.

Planning it all out! I utilize a whiteboard, calendar, and planner at home to get a glance of my month, week, and individual days. Also, utilize google calendar daily.

What one word describes KSUCPM?
Remarkable
What advice would you offer to any prospective students wishing to attend KSUCPM who are in the current application process?
The application process can be daunting, but hang in there! Write out your own answer to “why you are applying to podiatric medical school” and “why you want to be a physician/surgeon”. Seeing the personal answers to those questions will help you hang in there during the rough times. Otherwise, just keep your head up and trust the process!
Most challenging course and why?
Cell & Tissue, because it’s heavy biochemistry and histology that you need to stay ahead on. If you ever get behind, it would be very difficult to catch back up.
