Sandra “Sandy” Gamby, ‘02, always knew she wanted to get a college degree, but as a high school graduate in 1984, she lacked the kind of support to acquire one. Prior to the start of Fall classes, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry hosts an orientation session for new majors called COSMIC (Careers, Opportunities, Scholarships for Majors, & Information for Chemists) Kickoff.
