Gessiane Pereira joined the Takeshita lab at Kent State University in 2022 as a visiting scholar to work on part of her PhD dissertation entitled: “Monitoring senescence and stress levels in neotropical primates”. The 2023 Animation School Rankings have been released, and the Kent State University College of Applied and Technical Studies Animation Game Design (AGD) program is ranked 16th nationally and 20th in the Midwest. This is the 12th year for the annual rankings for animation programs. Nearly 200 schools with animation programs from across the country were considered.
