3 Minute Presentation
The annual 3 Minute Presentation competition offers students an exciting platform to hone their public speaking and presentation skills. Participants are challenged to condense complex research into a clear, compelling presentation for a non-specialist audience using just one static PowerPoint slide and three minutes or less.
The 3 Minute Presentation competition is planned as an in-person event. The schedule is as follows;
3 Minute Presentation Date: October 13th and October 14th, 2026
Time: 1 pm- 3:30 pm
Location: Various locations, 3rd floor, Kent Student Center

I participated in the 3 Minute Presentation competition in Fall'25 presenting my research about vulnerabilities in IoT and embedded systems devices. It was an incredible experience and really helped me build confidence in my presentation skills. I learned how to make complex topics engaging and easy to understand. The supportive community made all the difference throughout the experience!
