Scholarships
The Office of Financial Aid understands your concern about financing a medical education. Given the increasing educational costs, you students will likely acquire loan obligations. Applying for and earning scholarships can certainly help students along the way.
Internal Scholarships
Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) supports members of the student population with internal scholarships. Each year, incoming and continuing students are granted over $1,000,000 in internal scholarship awards.
Incoming Merit-Based Scholarship
Incoming scholarship awards range from $2,500 to $25,000 and are awarded when an admission decision is offered. This scholarship is only apply to MS-I.
Continuing Scholarship
Members of the Classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026 have been grandfathered into the previously used matrix awarding the top 30 students in each class, on the basis of GPA. These continuing scholarships, ranging from $3,000 to $10,000, will be applied for MS-II, III, and IV respectively.

Members of the Class of 2027 are eligible for a renewable continuing scholarships by maintaining an academic rank in the top 25% of their class. These continuing scholarships range from $10,000 to $25,000.

In addition to the internal scholarships, our institutional resources offer $200,000 in scholarships, culminating in awards in excess of $1,000,000 each year.
