Message from the Dean
Happy New Year from the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship
As we look back on the accomplishments of the 2024-2025 academic year, I am reminded that it was the first year for Kent State faculty, staff and students to work, learn, study and participate in many of the college’s activities in Crawford Hall.
Since Crawford Hall opened in Fall 2024, the college has hosted numerous events, including the 49th Meonske Professional Development Conference, the ASPIRE Entrepreneurial Workshop Series and the Michael D. Solomon Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, pitch competitions, alumni gatherings, a fountain dedication and multiple career fairs. In addition, partners across campus have used the building for events such as the Kent State Fashion Show.
Crawford Hall’s opening has brought about media coverage from numerous outlets, including this recent article published by Kent State Today.
None of these accomplishments would be possible without the generosity of our donors, such as the Kinickis. I invite you to read about their story in this issue of The Crawford Connection.
