The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a graduate-level program that prepares teacher candidates for initial licensure in Ohio.

Who is this degree intended for?

Candidates with prior undergraduate music degrees or those with significant music experience.

• Typically completed in one to two years and includes a semester of student teaching
