Kent State Tuscarawas Holds Annual Scholarship Golf Outing

Are you ready to take a swing for scholarships?

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is sponsoring the 21st annual Scholarship Golf Outing on Friday, April 29, at Oak Shadows Golf Club. The four-player, 18-hole scramble registration begins at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. Greens fees include lunch and steak dinner. 

Registration deadline is April 22. All proceeds benefit Alumni Legacy Scholarships for deserving students at Kent State Tuscarawas. The event is open to all.

“It’s a fun way companies and individuals can get involved to help out our students,” said Kent State Tuscarawas Dean and Chief Executive Brad Bielski. “We are always striving to provide more opportunities and access for local individuals to pursue college.”

Over the past 20 years, this annual event has raised more than $80,000 and provides funds for four $1,000 Alumni Legacy Scholarships awarded yearly, sustains the Alumni Legacy Scholarship endowment fund, and supports the growth and development of the Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association.
