At Kent State Tuscarawas, we want to reward your achievements and assist you in paying for college. In fact, each year we award over 170 scholarships to deserving students!
With tuition starting as low as $5664 per year and scholarships ranging from $250 to full tuition, Kent State Tuscarawas makes a quality education affordable for students. We offer a wide variety of scholarships based on a range of criteria such as grade point average, ACT scores, major, community involvement, financial need, and much more. The support of the Tuscarawas County University Foundation as well as local businesses and individuals allows us to generously support our students.
Scholarships are awarded to new and returning students for both full- and part-time attendance. All incoming freshman who have completed their admissions application by February 1 will be considered in our priority pool for scholarship awarding based on their academic record. Incoming freshman applicants who complete their applications after February 1 will be considered on a rolling basis for remaining awards. There is no scholarship application required for incoming freshman students.
Returning students must submit a scholarship application no later than May 1 to be considered for scholarships for the following academic year.

"Receiving scholarships has been a blessing. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to the many private and public scholarship donors. Scholarships make the possibility of higher education a reality for many individuals, including me. Earning a scholarship is the best reward someone can receive; it is the gift of an education and a reason to keep striving. In addition, Kent State Tuscarawas offers students a quality education for a reasonable cost. When I graduate from Kent State University, I know I won't be weighed down with debt." -Raya Williamson
