Becki Gierman

Becki Gierman serves as Associate Director of External Relations for Kent State University Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center, where she builds meaningful relationships with community partners and supporters, advances philanthropic priorities, and champions higher education as a pathway to opportunity. With a background in public libraries, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, Becki is passionate about strengthening communities through education, collaboration, and public service.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ohio University and is pursuing graduate studies in public administration and nonprofit management at Kent State. Becki is a Geauga County resident and active community volunteer, including service with Leadership Geauga, the League of Women Voters of Geauga, and Twinsburg Rotary’s Interact program. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors with her family.
