Computer Labs

The Geauga Campus's Computer Center provides computer support for the students, faculty, and staff of Kent State University at Geauga and RAC. There are multiple computer labs on both the Geauga Campus and the Regional Academic Center for student and community use. Along with full Internet access, the computer labs provide software for the following:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Internet Browser Software
  • KSU Proxy - Library Resources
  • VLC Media Player
  • Aleks 3.18
  • Adobe PDF Reader

Limited Lab Specific Software (contact Computer Center for locations):

  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • IBM SPSS
  • Intuit Quickbooks

When students are enrolled in the university, they will receive a FlashLine username and password that they will use to login to the computers. Students will need to get a FlashCard (student ID card) that can be used for printing in the labs.  This service is available at both the Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center.  Students should read the Acceptable Use Policy so they know what kind of computer use is acceptable in the labs.  A successful login allows computer use and access to lab printers for official academic purposes.
