Kent State Tuscarawas University Band Presents Free Concert

The Kent State University at Tuscarawas Band will present a concert, entitled “Around the World in 80 Minutes,” at 7 p.m. on November 19, 2019 in the Performing Arts Center. Auditorium doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free of charge and open to the public.  


“The Kent State Tuscarawas Band has experienced significant growth in numbers over the last four years,” said adjunct professor James Graves. “Our ensemble now includes over fifty instrumentalists who are Kent State Tuscarawas students, community members and talented high school musicians. I am excited as I watch our members cultivate their passion for music as we rehearse, practice and perform together.”    


Directed by Graves, the band rehearses on Thursday's beginning January 23, 2020, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. For more information regarding joining the band, contact Graves at
