Kent State University at Geauga, founded in 1964, is part of a major research university with the look and feel of a small private college. 

The Geauga Campus began offering classes in Twinsburg in 1991, at the Chrysler Training Center. As enrollment grew over the years so did the need to build. 

In 2012 the Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg opened its doors in a state-of-the-art LEED-certified building on Creekside Drive, near I-480.

The Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center serves over 2100 students. Currently, a student can choose from six associate degrees or seven baccalaureate degrees programs.

There is also an opportunity for students with current associate degrees to obtain a baccalaureate degree.

Students can complete all required coursework without ever leaving the campus.

For students with busy schedules, the campus continues to offer more online courses and uses Zoom Room technology to deliver a variety of courses from the regional campus system.

It’s important to remember that students can complete the first two years of coursework applicable toward many of the 282 undergraduate bachelor degree programs available at Kent State University.
