What is the College Credit Plus Application to Enrollment Timeline?
- October 1, 2021 - February 15, 2022: Attend CCP Information Sessions offered at local high schools and colleges, discuss CCP options with guidance counselor and family.
- October 2021 - May 2022: Complete ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer assessment. The ACT is offered, free of charge, to all high school juniors at the high school in February or March(check your high school for details). The Accuplacer is offered, free of charge, at Kent State after the student has applied and submitted other application materials. ACT dates and registration information can be found on their website.
- October 1, 2021: Kent State CCP application for Spring 2021, Summer 2021, and Fall 2021 is available online.
- October 15, 2021: Deadline to apply for CCP at Kent State for Spring 2022 classes. Be sure to have all application materials completed and submitted to Kent State Geauga.
- December 2021: New Spring 2022 admits will attend orientation and registration. Returning students will schedule an appointment with their academic advisor using KSU Advising.
- April 1, 2022: Letter of Intent to Participate in CCP must be turned in to the high school (for public school students). This form does NOT go to Kent State. Submit the form from your school counselor. Private and homeschool students must submit a Letter of Intent with their funding application to the Ohio Department of Education by setting up an OH|ID account. - April 15, 2022: Deadline to apply for CCP at Kent State for Summer 2022 classes. Be sure to have all application materials completed and submitted to Kent State Geauga.
- June 1, 2022: Deadline to apply for CCP at Kent State for Fall 2022 classes. Be sure to have all application materials completed and submitted to Kent State Geauga.
- October 15, 2022: Deadline to apply for CCP at Kent State for Spring 2023 classes. Be sure to have all application materials completed and submitted to Kent State Geauga.
- May, June, July 2022: Accepted students will attend a CCP orientation and register day to plan first semester classes. Plan ahead by searching the Schedule of Classes online. Returning students will make an academic advising appointment using KSU Advising.
