For the past seven years, Dr. Dinah Qutob of Kent State University at Stark and Dr. Adam Underwood from Walsh University have partnered to guide Stark County undergraduate students pursuing careers in biology, instilling in them a comprehensive understanding of how biological networks transition between health and disease states. Currently, they are collaborating through the Undergraduate Research Program to study the molecular mechanisms underlying rare diseases.
The Kent State University at Stark DEAR (Diversity, Equity & Anti-Racism) Committee is hosting a community-wide panel discussion and forum, Bridging the Gap: Legislative Movements and DEIB in Higher Ed, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The panel will be held at 6 p.m. in the Main Hall Auditorium at Kent State Stark.

Kent State University at Stark assistant professor Alicia Pieper teaches in the Human Development and Family Science department. She taught for several years in the Canton Local School District and then started teaching at Kent State University in the 1969-70 school year.
