The Recreation & Wellness Center promotes physical, social and mental well-being.

We believe that “everyBODY” should be given the opportunity to explore how permanent, positive lifestyle changes can increase their ability to succeed. We work together to educate our participants and to maintain a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where our participants can feel proud of what they achieve.

Students at Kent State Stark can build healthy lifestyles by taking advantage of all the fitness services available through the Recreation & Wellness Center. Here you’ll find a half-court volleyball and basketball court, dance/aerobics studio, Nautilus weight machine circuit, free weights, treadmills, stair climbers, elliptical cross-trainers and stationary bikes.

Students can also take physical education courses for credit like dance, cycling, yoga, weight training, golf and many more!
