Finalists for the 57th Annual Kent State University Alumni Association Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) Announced 

Kent State University at Stark is excited to announce that Amy Damrow, Ph.D., and Claudia Gomez, Ph.D., both from the Stark Campus, along with Jeffrey Osikiewicz, Ph.D., from the Tuscarawas Campus, have been selected as finalists for the 57th Annual Kent State University Alumni Association Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA). 

The DTA committee selected 10 faculty members from across the Kent State system from a pool of many worthy nominees. Three recipients will be chosen from this group in the coming weeks and all will be honored at the Oct. 20 University Teaching Council Conference. 

With so many deserving nominees, it is truly an honor to be selected as an award finalist.

  • Amy Damrow, Ph.D., associate professor, Foundations, Leadership & Administration, Stark Campus
  • Claudia Gomez, Ph.D., associate professor, Management and Information Systems, Stark Campus
  • Jeffrey Osikiewicz, Ph.D., associate professor, Mathematical Sciences, Tuscarawas Campus
