Essential Job Functions and Basic Duties

  • Determines operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, safety and cost and efficiency requirements are met.

  • Perform repair and maintenance activities on UPS and accompanying batteries, Variable Transformers, Voltage Regulators, Power Factor Correction devices, and Harmonic Filter equipment. 
  • Perform product startup and preventative maintenance activities to ensure the product/system is correctly installed and operating within specifications.
  • Conduct Power Quality Studies at end user sites to determine power related problems and collect the pertinent data to assist the customer in diagnosing their electrical problem.
  • Complete detailed service reports and associated paperwork to obtain the proper end-customer signatures of acceptance.  
  • Work to ensure required repair and maintenance activities are completed on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide feedback to the quality department to promote corrective action and preventive measure to ensure product compliance and acceptance.

OTHER SUPPORTING DUTIES

  • Assist the Staco testing team, as schedules require, to perform new product qualification testing prior to shipment of product(s) to the customer.
  • Provide internal training on applicable electrical testers, power analyzers, and power monitors to ensure all technical colleagues are properly trained and able to complete related tasks.
  • Assist on other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be open to travel by auto as needed based on customer logistics
