The application process is the same for all students, regardless of age. What determines your admission requirements is if you enrolled in college, adult education, trade school or any other academic program after high school.

- First Year Students: You have not enrolled in college, university, adult education, trade school or any other academic program after completing high school or the equivalent.
- Transfer: You have enrolled in college, university, adult education, trade school or any other academic program after completing high school or the equivalent.
- Former Kent State Student: You were previously enrolled at Kent State University (any campus), not including College Credit Plus, Dual Enrollment, or Post-Secondary courses.
