The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University – Tuscarawas announces two new shows coming to New Philadelphia this fall. To The Limit: The Ultimate Eagles Experience rocks the stage on Thursday, October 9th at 7:30 p.m. and comedian, actor and author Paul Reiser brings a night of stand-up comedy on Saturday, October 18th at 7:30 p.m.
To The Limit: The Ultimate Eagles Experience is a tribute band that pays homage to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, The Eagles. With their exceptional talent and unwavering dedication, To The Limit recreates the timeless sound and spirit of The Eagles, capturing the essence of their music with remarkable precision.
To The Limit quickly gained recognition for their ability to transport audiences back to the golden era of rock and roll. Each band member brings their own unique skill set and passion for The Eagles' music, resulting in a performance that is both authentic and electrifying. With meticulous attention to detail, To The Limit flawlessly recreates the intricate harmonies, soulful guitar solos, and unforgettable melodies that made The Eagles a household name. From the country rock of "Take It Easy" to the haunting balladry of "Hotel California, "To The Limit delivers a truly immersive experience that leaves fans in awe.
Voted by Comedy Central as one of the Top 100 Comedians of All Time, Paul Reiser regularly performs sold-out standups at venues nationwide. On the heels of his new comedy The Problem with People, which he wrote, produced, and starred in alongside Colm Meaney and Jane Levy, Reiser has upcoming projects across a multitude of media formats. Reiser co-wrote What a Fool Believes, the candid, freewheeling memoir of his friend and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Michael McDonald, which was released in May of 2024. Reiser is widely celebrated for his roles in two hit shows for Netflix: Stranger Things—the company’s biggest series of all time—and Chuck Lorre’s The Kominsky Method, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Mad About You, the long-running Emmy, Peabody, and Golden Globe-winning comedy that Reiser created and starred in with Helen Hunt, returned as a limited series on Spectrum Originals.
