Tusc BDD Services

Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities (TuscBDD)

County Boards of Developmental Disabilities are responsible for developing person-centered plans that identify the supports that will help individuals achieve their goals and connect them with the providers and funding needed to implement those person-centered plans. Each of Ohio’s 88 counties has a County Board accredited by the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).

If you wish to receive services, we will need to determine if you are eligible. In the State of Ohio, the guidelines for eligibility depend on the age of the individual. For any TuscBDD service, an individual must reside in Tuscarawas County.

Some services that may help college students include:

  • Employment Navigation Services
  • Funding to Access Needed Supports
  • Assistance with Independent Living
  • Case Management Services to Identify Goals
  • Support with Accessing and Funding Transportation
  • Childcare Options

To request eligibility information, call (330) 308-7173. For more information about services and supports, visit https://www.tuscbdd.org.
