International Summit on Learning and Behavioral Health

The Call for Proposals is Now Closed

All session proposals must address one or more of the following topics: emotional and behavioral health, academics, research methods, and/or application in practice. Sessions that focus on the learning and behavioral health of students internationally are strongly encouraged. 

Presentation teams are limited to a maximum of 3 presenters for each session. Each presentation will include a discussant. The discussant will provide substantive thoughts of the work presented and facilitate conversation between the presenters and the audience. Applicants may identify a discussant as a part of their proposal (e.g., as a fourth member of the team), or the conference committee will assign the discussant. 

All presentations will be accompanied by a manuscript (15 pages double spaced, excluding references) that summarizes the work presented. Each manuscript will be preceded by a 1-2 page introduction written by the discussant. Manuscripts will be compiled in a bound volume.  The published volume will be organized into 4 sections that mirror the summit organization as follows: research methods, behavior, academics, and applications in practice. Draft manuscripts are due prior to the conference. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by the primary editorial team prior to publication. As with all academic publishing, authors should expect one or more cycles of review and revision prior to final acceptance.
