Advisory Boards and Councils

The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion works in tandem with advisory boards and councils directly associated with the work of the division. These groups are are consisted of alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends who advocate for the students of Kent State University. 

Additionally, these groups are composed of leaders acquainted with the needs of the community and committed to the values and mission of the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The purpose of these boards are to promote the recognition, development and financial support of the students served by DEI centers, departments and offices. Lastly, members of DEI advisory boards and councils assist with identifying ways by which the division can best serve the educational needs of the students in addition to identifying sources of financial support.
