General Parking Information
STARK CAMPUS PARKING INFORMATION
- A general 15-mph speed limit is in effect for the Kent State Stark parking areas. A 25-mph speed limit is in effect for all campus roadways.
- Drivers must yield to pedestrians at all times.
- Anyone operating a vehicle recklessly on campus without regard for the safety of others will be subject to disciplinary action or law enforcement referral.
- Kent State University at Stark provides free parking for students, faculty/staff and visitors. Each lot is designated with signage to indicate parking for students, faculty/staff or visitors.
- You must register vehicles that you regularly drive to campus with Campus Security. Vehicle registration and issuing of parking hang tags takes place before classes begin. View vehicle registration procedures.
- Parking hang tags are good for the fall and spring semesters. Hang tags are not required for summer terms.
- Adequate parking is provided on campus, but does not guarantee a parking space immediately adjacent to the building in which a student has class. All drivers, except campus visitors, are required to display their parking hang tag from the rearview mirror with the ID number facing outward.
- Multiple parking offenses may result in a referral to the Office of Student Conduct and possible revocation of parking privileges on the Stark Campus.
KENT CAMPUS PARKING INFORMATION
- Stark Campus parking hang tags are not valid for parking at the Kent Campus.
- If you have a valid Kent Campus parking hang tag, you do not have to register your vehicle or obtain a hang tag at the Stark Campus.
