Each residence hall develops a Hall Council, allowing students to become actively involved in addressing issues as well as planning events at the hall level. Involvement in one’s Hall Council also provides great opportunities for developing leadership skills. Kent Interhall Council (KIC), which is made up of representatives from each of these hall councils, serves as the representative voice of residents to the administration, plans campus-wide programs, and participates in or attends regional and national conferences.
