Will I face delays or extra screenings while I travel home? Will I be forced to go into a quarantine? What should I do if I get delayed while in transit home and miss my flight?
- Students should be prepared to show their passport and all flight information upon check-in at the airport. We strongly recommend students have a copy of their original flight details showing their arrival flight into Florence.
- Students should expect enhanced health screenings as they travel through airports on their way home and be prepared for delays. We cannot anticipate what requirements will be in place while you travel and do not know if you will face a quarantine situation. Please check with the airports you are traveling through if you have any questions or concerns.
- If you miss your flight while traveling, please go to the airline help desk at the airport to have your flight rescheduled.
- If you miss your flight out of Florence, you are responsible for arranging your own transportation home.
