Parking and Unloading

There are two unloading options: 30-Minute Self Unloading and Express Unloading. For the best experience, we encourage the Express Unloading option if the option is available at your residence hall.

Express Unloading

Skip the hassle—get help unloading right at your residence hall entrance! The express unloading zone provides close access to your hall, Movers and Groovers to do the lifting, and ensures your driver doesn’t carry a thing!

  • Pull into a designated express unloading zone (marked in GREEN on the Move-In Map).
  • Staff will guide you, and Movers and Groovers volunteers will unload and deliver your items to your room.
  • One person must stay with the vehicle at all times.
  • After unloading, move your vehicle to a long-term parking lot.
  • Golf cart shuttles will return drivers to their residence hall.

Available at: Allyn, Clark, Fletcher, and Manchester.

30-Minute Self Unloading

Prefer to move your own items? Use the 30-minute loading zones (marked in RED on the Move-In Map). This option offers flexibility while keeping unloading areas accessible for all.

  • You're responsible for moving items from your car to your room.
  • Only one vehicle per group may use the zone at a time.
  • A 30-minute unloading form must be displayed on your dashboard.
  • Additional vehicles must park in long-term parking.
