Tri-Towers Renovation Dedication Celebration

On 15 Oct. 2014, a dedication ceremony took place to commemorate the finishing of the renovations for Tri-Towers. The dedication of the Tr-Towers Complex marks another milestone in the Foundations of Excellence initiative at Kent State University. This program revolves around the the upgrade and construction of buildings and facilities. The mission is to create a unique and outstanding academic experience for students, staff, alumni and university community.

Tri-Towers was originally constructed  in May 1968 and includes the twin, 10-story halls of Wright and Koonce, and the 12-story Leebrick Hall. With the refurbishing, the halls received new carpeting, paint and elevators. Additionally, all lounges and kitchens were updated throughout the building. Sky lounges were also designed and installed on the 10th floor of Koonce and Wright halls.
