Student Advising

Academic Advising/Registration

In addition to working with the Regional Campus academic advisers, students should plan to meet with an adviser within their academic unit at the Kent Campus at least one to two semesters prior to the anticipated transition.

Academic advising is one of the most important services available to help students maximize the educational benefits available to them at Kent State University. Academic advisers can help you make decisions about your academic career and show you how your credits apply to Kent State degree requirements. Your adviser will also offer guidance in the selection of courses and assist in planning your educational program. Students are strongly encouraged to work closely with their Regional Campus academic advisers in planning for the transition to the Kent Campus.

Kent Campus Undergraduate Advising Services can help you get the most out of your Kent State experience while also helping you complete your degree.
