Kent State University’s College of Nursing Assistant Professor Janet Reed, Ph.D., wanted to know how nursing students’ biggest fears about going into the nursing profession would translate into AI-generated art. The resulting images that portray a physical representation of the students’ worries about their future profession are prompting discussions.

Kent State University Police investigated an unverified threat at Kent Hall that was received this morning. University police worked with federal and other law enforcement partners to assess the threat. Based on the investigation, police have determined that the threat is not credible. The threat is similar to those received recently at other schools and institutions. All classes and activities on campus will continue as scheduled.

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, in the University Library, Second Floor, Urban Conference Room, on the Kent Campus to consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business. Trustees will retire into executive session at 8:30 a.m.
