The Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine has trained foot and ankle physicians since 1916 and is the only podiatric medical school in Ohio. Based in Independence, just south of Cleveland, the college grants the doctor of podiatric medicine degree and connects students to clinical training in Cleveland's nationally known health systems.
