Lindsay Kuntzman, assistant director of marketing with Kent State’s Alumni Relations department, writes:

“Having attended Kent State as both an undergraduate and graduate student, the connections I developed first on campus were centered around student activities and classes. After graduating and spending some time working in the corporate world, coming back to work for my alma mater in the department of Alumni Relations has given me a chance to further develop connections, both professional and personal, at Kent State.”

Also, read Bob Burford’s account of his struggle with his weight and the journey he underwent in shedding the pounds. Burford, marketing/external relations coordinator with University Communications and Marketing, and weekend announcer for WKSU, says:

“Two years ago I visited Memphis with a group of old college pals. It was my first time in the city, and we had a great time visiting music landmarks such as Sun Studios, Stax Records and, of course, Graceland. But my long weekend was marred by health problems.  A few days before departing, my right foot began to swell up.  As an extremely overweight guy, I was used to swollen feet, but this was much more serious.”
