ADVISORY: Special Kent State University Board of Trustees Meeting, April 15

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Monday, April 15, for the sole purpose of retiring into executive session to consider two specific topics as provided for under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law”: considering the appointment, employment and compensation of a public employee or official [121.22(G)(1)]; and preparing for, conducting, or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment [121.22 (G)(4)].

No other topics will be placed on the agenda, no committee meetings will be held and no board actions will be taken.

The Board will convene at 7:30 a.m. in the J. F. Bradley Boardroom, which is located at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, 6000 Rockside Woods Blvd., Independence, Ohio.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board is Thursday, May 9, at the Kent Campus.
