ADVISORY: Special Kent State University Board of Trustees Meeting, April 9

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9. Due to the ongoing efforts to safeguard the health and safety of the community and the recent calls by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to practice social distancing and limit in-person meetings, this meeting will be conducted virtually via Zoom Meetings. This special meeting is being conducted electronically as permitted under Amended Substitute House Bill 197, which was signed by Gov. DeWine on March 27.

The sole purpose of the special board meeting is to consider a special graduate surcharge rate for non-Ohio residents.

No committee meetings will be held, and no other items are on the agenda.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board is Wednesday, June 3.
