A police chase of a stolen car ended in a multicar accident just before 3 p.m. Sunday on East Main Street along the northern edge of the Kent Campus. Portage County Sheriff’s deputies apprehended the teen driver near White Hall as he tried to flee the scene on foot. Medical units were called to treat those who were involved in the crash.
Kent State University Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in the aftermath of the incident.
