ADVISORY: Special Kent State University Board of Trustees Meeting, March 27

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 3 p.m. Friday, March 27. Due to the ongoing efforts to safeguard the health and safety of the community and the recent calls by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to practice social distancing and limit in-person meetings, this meeting will be conducted virtually via Zoom Meetings. This special meeting is being conducted electronically as permitted under guidance from Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Amended Substitute House Bill 197, which is awaiting signature by Gov. Mike DeWine.

The purpose of the special board meeting is the temporary delegation of authority during a public health emergency.

  • Join by phone to hear the meeting by dialing 646-558-8656 and using the meeting ID 989 830 599.

No committee meetings will be held, and no other items are on the agenda.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board is Wednesday, June 3.
