Kent State University Game Watch Parties Scheduled for Bowl Game

After winning a program record 11 games, the Kent State Golden Flashes football team will take on Arkansas State on Sunday, Jan. 6, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., in the Bowl Game. This is the third bowl appearance for the Golden Flashes. They attended the Refrigerator Bowl in 1954 and the Tangerine Bowl in 1972.

For fans unable to travel to Mobile, they can still cheer on the Golden Flashes with fellow Kent State supporters. The Kent State University Alumni Association will host game watch parties across the country in areas with larger populations of Kent State alumni, including Denver, Pasadena, Calif., Charlotte, N.C. and Raleigh, N.C. For Kent State fans in Ohio, there will be multiple watch party locations.
