Kent State Professors Talk with FOX 8 About First Presidential Debate

As Cleveland prepared to host the first presidential debate, two Kent State University professors weighed in on the candidate’s messaging.

Paul Haridakis, Ph.D., professor and coordinator of doctoral education in the School of Communication Studies highlighted the roles traditional and social media play to push out a candidate’s message.

Mark Cassell, Ph.D., professor in Kent State’s Department of Political Science discussed what the candidates needed to do to stand out in the debate.
