Kent State Ranks in the Top 100 of Best Graduate Education Schools by U.S. News & World Report

In its 2020 edition of Best Graduate Schools, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Kent State University in the top 100 of Best Graduate Education Schools.
 
Kent State ranks 93rd in the country in the Best Graduate Education Schools ranking, improving 15 spots from last year’s ranking of 108th.
 
“We are very excited to see our U.S. News & World Report rankings that reflect the strengths of our truly groundbreaking programs,” said James Hannon, Ph.D., dean of Kent State’s College of Education, Health and Human Services. “Our distinctive programs in the College of Education, Health and Human Services prepare students for pursuing their purpose through meaningful careers.”
 
Kent State’s Rehabilitation Counseling program, also offered by the College of Education, Health and Human Services, again received a high ranking. Kent State now ranks 20th on the 2020 Best Rehabilitation Counseling Programs list. The last time rehabilitation counseling programs were ranked was in 2015, and at that time, Kent State earned the ranking of 37th in the country.
 
In the new rankings of Best Graduate Schools, Kent State also ranks 113th on the Best Public Health Schools list and 139th on the Best Public Affairs Programs list.
