Kent State Students Visit International Conference to Learn About Global Health
Kent State University nursing and public health students are learning about how faith based organizations play a key role in providing health care around the world.
As part of their degree program, 20 students, along with Ken Slenkovich, assistant dean of Kent State’s College of Public Health, attended the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
This is the 5th year that Kent State students have attended the meeting.
They also visited the World Council for Churches to learn how the organization’s work relates to global health and healing.
