Kent State University Outstanding Research and Scholarship Awards Takes Place March 19

The annual Kent State University Outstanding Research and Scholarship Awards will be held on Tuesday, March 19, in the Music and Speech Building.

The annual Kent State University Outstanding Research and Scholarship Awards on March 19 will feature a special performance by members of the Cleveland Orchestra and Kent State Associate Professor of Music Donna Lee.The annual Kent State University Outstanding Research and Scholarship Awards will be held on Tuesday, March 19, in the Music and Speech Building. The event will include a special performance by members of the Cleveland Orchestra with Donna Lee, associate professor and coordinator of the Piano Division, at Kent State University.

A welcome reception will be held at 5:15 p.m. in the Roe Green Center Lobby followed by the award ceremony at 6 p.m. in the Ludwig Recital Hall. The musical performance will begin at 6:30 pm, also in the Ludwig Recital Hall.  The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.  The recipients of the 2013 Outstanding Research and Scholarship Awards will be announced on the Kent State homepage on March 12
