Kent State Veterans Club Presents Second Annual Adam Hamilton Scholarship Fund Memorial Corn Hole Tournament

On Saturday, July 28, the Kent State Veterans Club will host the second annual scholarship fund memorial corn hole tournament in honor of Army Specialist Adam Hamilton who was killed in Afghanistan on May 28, 2011

On Saturday, July 28, the Kent State Veterans Club will host the second annual scholarship fund memorial corn hole tournament in honor of Army Specialist Adam Hamilton who was killed in Afghanistan on May 28, 2011. The tournament will take place at the Kent VFW located at 500 VFW Parkway in Kent (follow the signs at state Route 59). Gates open at 11 a.m., and the tournament starts at noon.

The fee to enter the tournament is $40 per team. Nonparticipants pay $10. Tickets cover food and drinks.

The tournament will be single elimination rounds with two- man teams. The first place winner will receive $100, and the second place winner will receive $50. Also included at the memorial event will be a 50/50 raffle, music and a silent auction.

All proceeds will be donated to the Adam Hamilton Memorial Academic and Athletic Scholarship Fund.
