The Sounds of Summer Live Music Concert Series Takes Place Aug. 17

The Sounds of Summer Live Music Concert Series, presented by the Kent State University Undergraduate Student Government, will take place on Aug. 17 at the Student Green on the Kent Campus.The Kent State University Undergraduate Student Government invites all students, faculty, staff and their families to attend the last concert in the Sounds of Summer Live Music Concert Series on Aug. 17 on the Student Green. The event will begin at 6 p.m., with the music beginning at 7 p.m.

Danjo Jazz/Rock Orchestra and Hard2Handle will perform at the concert, and food and beverages will be available. There is no entrance fee for the event.

The concert series was created this year by the Kent State Undergraduate Student Government to help promote the Student Green.

“The green is such a beautiful space, and the small stage is perfect for small outdoor musical performances,” says Quintin Steele, creative director for the Kent State Undergraduate Student Government.
