Free COVID-19 Testing This Week in Portage County Offered at NEOMED

The drive-up testing will take place on three days in the NEOMED parking lot.

There will be free COVID-19 testing this week open to all at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown.

The drive-up testing will take place in NEOMED’s campus parking Lot B on the south side of campus, 4211 Ohio Route 44, Rootstown. To access testing stations, enter through Loretta Drive from Tallmadge Road. All exiting will be onto Route 44.

Testing will take place: 

  • Tuesday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    A graphic showing the days and times of the COVID-19 testing.
  • Thursday, July 23, from 1 to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those being tested are asked to bring a proper form of identification, a pen and something firm to write on for signing forms.

Anyone under the age of 18 will need the signed consent of a parent or guardian to get tested.

The testing is being provided by the Ohio National Guard at NEOMED in collaboration with the Portage County Health District and Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
